Message From the Mayor
Mayor Alan ArakawaAloha,
It is a pleasure to introduce you to the new Maui County Film Office web site.
When taking office almost two years ago, we wanted to initiate a change in regards to how Maui County is perceived in the entertainment industry. Our islands of Maui, Kaho‘olawe, Moloka‘i and Lana‘i are more than just pretty backdrops and scenic views and production crews needed some way to find that out for themselves.

And so this website is the first step to show the entertainment industry that Maui County is a world-class film and television destination.  From this single site at all aspects of the entertainment industry have access to Maui County’s resources, from crew and talent to equipment, locations and support services

Also, the usefulness of this website is not just limited to the film industry. County residents can list their homes and businesses as potential filming locations for free, using this simple and easy database. So, if you are a Maui County resident and interested in having a movie or TV show filmed on your property, please use this site to upload photos of your properties and business. If you are in the industry and live here, please include yourself too.

And for the entertainment industry, I bid you a warm welcome to Maui County. Hopefully you can find exactly what your location scouts are looking for.
